Awana: Who We Are, What We Do

WHO: Gerald and Susan Vanderford serve as the Awana Missionaries for North Central Tennessee. As the regional missionaries, they have enlisted the support of a ministry team to serve the Lord through the ministry of Awana to "reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him." Awana missionaries share local churches’ zeal to turn their communities upside down for Christ — starting with young people, the most open age group to the Gospel. Our missionaries’ calling is to support churches in their assigned region in the task of impacting the lives of kids and families … both inside and outside the congregation.
