MOPS Int'l and Awana Partnership!We see this as a simple solution for busy families. Moms can bring their children to the Awana program where they will experience a Christian community with Christian adults and peers who care about them and where they can get to know God. We might not choose the circumstances that he had to endure, but we certainly would prefer to see our children respond to life in the same way as Jacob’s famous son. Help Break the Cycle - Five thousand inmates of the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola have left 20,000 children behind. The children are left without the love and leadership of father figures. Our great challenge is breaking the cycle of crime. The truth is that children of an incarcerated parent are seven times more likely than their peers to end up in prison themselves.
